Are stated in W/m pipe and is calculated as per below:
Pm = 2 x Π x k x mt x 1.2 / ln (dy / di)
Pm | = | Required power in W/m. |
k | = | The heat permeability of the insulation in W/m°C For mineral wool = 0.045 |
mt | = | The surface temperature depending on the climate zone and depth of trench (see table) |
dy | = | The outer diameter of the insulation. |
di | = | The interior diameter of the insulation. |
