Required power:

Are stated in W/m pipe and is calculated as per below:

Pm = 2 x Π x k x mt x 1.2 / ln (dy / di)

Pm = Required power in W/m.
k = The heat permeability of the insulation in W/m°C
For mineral wool = 0.045
mt = The surface temperature depending on the climate zone and depth of trench (see table)
dy = The outer diameter of the insulation.
di = The interior diameter of the insulation.
