Heat accumulator
CALO-BLOC HEAT ACCUMULATOR – ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY AND ECONOMCIAL HEATING
Reloading point of warmth for heating and water heating
- boiler for solid matters
- tiled stove
- fireplace
- oil-fired boilers
- gas-fired boilers
- condensing boilers
- solar collectors
- heat pumps
- electric energy
The presented interval technics are the consequent further development of the well-known low-temperature heating systems. The interval heating technics are the result of many years of experience and they are scientifically substantiated by extensive research of different institutes.
Burner cycles with and without CALO-Bloc
The interval heating technics bring lots of advantages:
- solid plastics accumulator
- rustproof
- no reactive anodes
- polyurethane compact insulation (CFC-free)
- only 1,5°C reduction in 24h
- insulation safety-tested by TÜV
- easy to assemble
- low transport weight
- heat exchanger in assebly system
- large storage capacity
- constantly fresh warm industrial water
- no health hazard by legionella
- no smouldering fire
- no soot problems
- optimum utilization of power sources
- long burner life
- lowest stand-by losses
- minimized turn-on and turn-off intervals
- lowest burner wear and maintenance work
- SOLAR for heating and hot water
- intermediate storage of every energy as required
- high yearly level of utilization
- very environment-friendly
- always expansible
Interval heating technics
As the CALO-Bloc Heat accumulator is included in the heating circuit the water volume of the heating system grows. So the burner starts much more rarely and enables an efficient and environment-friendly heating.
Operation with solid matters
The CALO-Bloc Heat accumulator makes it possible to store the really neeeded warmth temporarily. So a more economical use of fuel is possible.
Solar operation
The storage of warmth in the CALO-Bloc makes it possible to use solar energy even on days lacking in sunshine. The warmth cannot only be used to warm up service water, but it can also be used for heating.
Condensing technic
The rectangular parallel-piped-shaped structure and the optimum arrangement of the heat exchangers guarantee a very good temperature-bedding in the accumulator. The low return temperature makes it possible to use the condensing warmth for heating as well as for warming up service water all year round.
Electric night storage
The CALO-Bloc Heat accumulator can be charged at very reasonable times and if necessary it can be discharged through the use of water or heating.
Operation with heat pumps
The temporary storage of warmth makes it possible to use the recovered warmth at a later time.
Hydraulics
- You can l ink up to four heat accumulators without further circulating pumps with each other.
- The pipe work should be done by “Tichelmann”, that is, the sum of the lengths of the flow and return pipes are the same at each connection.
- If more than four heat accumulators are linked, an additional circulating pump is needed.
Regulation
- The additional circulating pump should be operated with a separate difference-temperature-controller.
- Possible regulations: DS100, DS100/D, DS200/D
